Dashboard delivery deadline set for 2019

Economic secretary to the Treasury Harriett Baldwin will champion the development of the pensions dashboard and ensure its 2019 delivery deadline is met.

Speaking at an industry forum on the Financial Advice Market Review the MP said there had been overwhelming support for the concept of a pensions dashboard and she would steer the project to completion in 2019. A pension dashboard will enable consumers to see all the pension information in one place via an online portal. The mechanics of the scheme are yet to be finalised but many financial services firms have pledged their support and interest in developing the necessary databases and technology.
