Ex-AIFA boss Chris Cummings named Investment Association CEO

The Investment Association (IA) has appointed TheCityUK's founding chief executive Chris Cummings as its new CEO.

Cummings takes over from interim chief executive Guy Sears who took control after the departure of Daniel Godfrey last October.  Cummings (pictured) joins from TheCityUK, which he founded in June 2010 after spending seven years as director general at the Association of Independent Financial Advisers.
