Firm to split into four divisions

Old Mutual has hired Rob Leith to lead the 'managed separation' of the firm's four businesses.

Last week, it was announced the FTSE-100 listed group was to embark on a 'managed separation' of its various divisions. The four key businesses are: Old Mutual Emerging Markets; Old Mutual Wealth (led by Paul Feeney) which includes asset management arm Old Mutual Global Investors; Nedbank Group and OM Asset Management in the US. The group has now appointed Leith to the group executive committee as director of managed separation.
