Allianz hires ex-Pru chief Jackie Hunt

Allianz has hired former head of Prudential UK Jackie Hunt to oversee its asset management businesses, including Allianz Global Investors and PIMCO.

Hunt (pictured), who has also been appointed to the board, takes over from Jay Ralph, who has held the position since 2012 and is leaving the company at his own request, with effect from 30 June. She most recently worked at Prudential as CEO, which she left last year, overseeing the UK, Europe and Africa. Prior to this, she was chief financial officer at Standard Life. In her new role, she will be based at Allianz's Munich head office from 1 July.
