Prudential names John Foley UK CEO

John Foley has been named chief executive of Prudential UK and Europe following the departure of Jackie Hunt.

He had been interim head of the provider's UK and European operation since October last year. Hunt exited the business after two years. He was previously group investment director, and has worked as group chief risk officer and in senior investment and risk management positions since joining Prudential in 2000. Foley retains responsibility for Prudential Capital and Prudential Portfolio Management Group.
