Cann wins award for 'outstanding achievement in financial planning'

Former presidents of the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) have praised the body's former CEO Nick Cann for his achievements and influence in the field of financial planning.

Cann (pictured), who stepped down as chief after suffering a stroke in March 2013, was awarded a prize for his 'outstanding achievement in financial planning' at this year's IFP conference, which took place earlier this month. At the event's awards ceremony, former IFP president Julie Lord praised Cann for his "can-do attitude and focus on getting things moving".
