Daniel Godfrey has stepped down from his position as chief executive of the Investment Association.
Professional Adviser's sister title Investment Week understands that Godfrey (pictured) left the body by mutual agreement. The board held a meeting on 6 October where they agreed to discuss Godfrey's future at the organisation. However, following a meeting with the chairman, Godfrey decided to leave a few hours after the meeting concluded.
