Old Mutual poaches Investec's Gary Dale for top adviser sales role

Old Mutual Wealth has appointed Gary Dale as head of advisory sales, poaching him from a similar role at rival Investec.

Old Mutual Wealth said the appointment aims to strengthen its adviser facing support. Dale, an industry figure for twenty years, will be responsible for the team covering sales and distribution of all Old Mutual products into the UK. He was previously head of intermediary sales for derivatives and structured products at Investec, and has also worked at Santander, Prudential, Norwich Union and Axa. Dale will join on 30 November.
