Aberdeen CIO Richards named CBE in New Year Honours List

Anne Richards, the chief investment officer (CIO) at Aberdeen Asset Management, and Elizabeth Corley, chief executive of Allianz Global Investors, have become CBEs in the 2015 New Year Honours List, published today.

Richards (pictured), named Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to the financial services industry and voluntary service, has been CIO and head of the EMEA region at Aberdeen for more than 11 years. She had been CIO and joint managing director of Edinburgh Fund Managers (EFM), which was acquired by Aberdeen in 2003. Prior to joining EFM, she worked for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
