F&C poaches Bennett from RWC in distribution double hire

F&C Investments has hired RWC's John Bennett as head of wholesale institutions as part of a move to rebuild its distribution team.

Bennett - who was head of retail distribution at RWC - will lead F&C's UK sales for fund of funds, banks and fund buyers at financial institutions when he starts in September. F&C said the hire of Bennett had been made as part of F&C's commitment to build its distribution and client management teams across the business. It comes after the group re-organised its retail distribution team earlier this year, with the team now divided into two dedicated functions, one focusing on nationals, networks, life companies and platforms, and the other taking a regional approach.
