About two-thirds of people are concerned about not having enough money in retirement, with women significantly more worried than men, according to Axa Wealth figures.
In a poll of just over 2,500 people some 63% had fears about lack of cash in retirement. Some 32% of women were really worried about having enough money to fund essentials, compared to 26% of men. About 13% of men had no financial concerns at all, in comparison to just 8% of women. The research, conducted by YouGov, looked at attitudes toward and preparations for retirement among UK adults.
