Adviser firms invited to enter Aberdeen UK Platform Awards

"Platform-enabled" advisory businesses are being invited to enter their firm for the 2014 Aberdeen UK Platform Awards.

There are two awards for advisory firms: Leading adviser practice (fewer than ten advisers) and leading adviser business (ten or above). Judges, chaired by Institute of Financial Planning chief executive Steve Gazzard, will be looking at how platforms support firms' customer propositions whilst facilitating efficient administration and service. Additionally, they will be keen to see how the firm is meeting the demands of the RDR, in terms of suitability and benchmarking, its remuneration proposition and due diligence processes.
