IFDS hires former BoE chief information officer Simon Moorhead

IFDS has appointed former Bank of England chief information officer Simon Moorhead to oversee the development of the firm's technology infrastructure and operations.

He joins the IFDS board of directors as chief information officer from the Bank, where he led the IT programme that helped create the Prudential Regulation Authority in April 2013. Moorhead, who stepped down from the Bank in July, will assume responsibility for developing the firm's technology infrastructure and operations across its locations in Asia-Pacific, Canada, and Europe.
