Zurich UK Life appoints head of retail platform strategy

Zurich UK Life has promoted Alistair Wilson to the newly created role of head of retail platform strategy.

Wilson (pictured), formerly the head of Zurich's platform business development team, will oversee the ongoing development of the retail platform proposition in the new role. He will report to head of retail David White. White said: "2013 proved to be a strong first year of trading for our new platform business and I am determined to continue to build on this success. Alistair's appointment demonstrates our commitment to our platform business, and the strength in-depth of our management team.
