Foster Denovo hires former FCA supervisor as compliance director

National IFA firm Foster Denovo has appointed former Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) supervisor Jane McTigue as compliance and risk director.

McTigue's (pictured) supervisory role at the FCA required her to manage relationships with two of the UK's top life assurance groups and other advisory companies. Prior to this, she spent 18 years at St James' Place. She takes over from interim head of compliance Alan Taylor who had been in the role since Scott Soper's resignation as compliance director in June 2013.
