The Association of Private Client Investment Managers and Stockbrokers (APCIMS) is planning to rebrand as the Wealth Management Association to better reflect its membership.
The group said following consultation with its members, it has proposed a name change which will be the subject of a vote at its next AGM in October. APCIMS said its membership has widened over the years, and now extends well beyond investment managers and stockbrokers to include private banks, discretionary fund managers, and other financial firms.
