Alliance Trust Savings outlines platform expansion targets

Alliance Trust Savings (ATS) plans to shore up the number of funds available on the platform over the next four months as part of a final active expansion drive.

The platform arm of Alliance Trust aims to have between 2,000 and 2,500 clean funds from around 80 fund managers in place by the end of 2013. There are currently 1,800 funds available on the platform from around 50 fund managers. ATS is engaged in active discussions with fund groups including Dimensional, Skandia, Russell, Frontier, Argonaut and Architas. Funds from Cavendish, Ecclesiastical, Heartwood, Liontrust and Unicorn Asset Management have all been added to the platform within the past month.
