Cofunds: Mixed Investment 20-60% Shares sector dominate in July

Mixed Investment 20-60% shares was the most popular sector in July for the seventh consecutive month, according to sales data from Cofunds.

The sector accounted for 205% of net sales last month, followed by Targeted Absolute Return with 94% of net sales and the Property sectors which accounted for 67%. Cofunds head of commercial Graham Venn said: "The requirement of Mixed Investment 20-60% shares to hold a mix of equities, fixed income and cash make this a popular sector for investors who want to spread and manage risk.
