Aberdeen mourns after two employees die in road accident

Two Aberdeen Asset Management employees have been killed in a road accident while cycling from Land's End to John o'Groats on a charity bike ride.

Andrew McMenigall and Toby Wallace had undertaken the cycle ride to raise funds for the Kirsten Scott Memorial Trust, in memory of an Aberdeen colleague who lost her life to cancer in October 2011. McMenigall, a senior investment manager in Aberdeen's Edinburgh-based global equities team, joined the group in 1997, having previously been an officer in the British Army. Wallace joined Aberdeen in 2000 and was a senior relationship manager in its Philadelphia office. He had previously raised money for the Kirsten Scott trust via a cross-Atlantic boat journey.
