There is no denying we are all living longer. The average age of a UK investor is 55, with a life expectancy of 85, so there is a real need for long-term income post-retirement. A Natixis Global Asset Management survey of more than 700 UK investors found that 62% value stable and predictable investment returns more so than ever before.
