Suffolk Life names Self MD as Hobbs moves to Cofunds

Suffolk Life has confirmed product and operations director Will Self will become managing director of the firm.

This follows the announcement that outgoing managing director David Hobbs will be moving to Legal & General to take up the role of managing director, operational services, designate in the Cofunds business unit. Both Self and Hobbs will assume their new roles from 1 July, subject to Financial Conduct Authority approval. Self joined Suffolk Life in 2003, initially heading up an administration team before joining the corporate development team where he was instrumental in launching several joint ventures.
