Verona Smith exits Cofunds as L&G makes more changes

Verona Smith, marketing director at Cofunds, is to exit the platform in the wake of the takeover by Legal & General.

Smith was previously head of proposition before changing roles earlier this year. Smith's exit comes hot on the heels of the departure of its chief executive Martin Davis. Davis - who joined the platform in June 2011 after a stint as CEO of restricted advice firm Openwork - left last week. L&G has moved across a number of its own people after acquiring the remaining 75% stake of the platform which it did not already own for £131m last month.
