Morningstar unveils managed portfolio service

Investment services provider Morningstar has launched a managed portfolio service for advisers.

The Morningstar OBSR Managed Portfolios is an outsourced portfolio construction service combining asset allocation and fund manager selection. The portfolios incorporate risk tolerance profiling, portfolio construction, ongoing monitoring and portfolio reporting. The service consists of five risk/reward profiles: cautious, moderately cautious, moderate, moderately adventurous and adventurous. Portfolios will be reviewed and rebalanced at least quarterly.
