Julie Dean to run Buxton's Schroder UK Growth trust

The board of the Schroder UK Growth trust has opted to hand over the management of the trust to Cazeonove's Julie Dean, who is joining Schroders imminently.

Dean (pictured) will take over the trust following Richard Buxton's departure to Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI), following a behind the scenes battle for the trust. Dean will assume managerial responsibilities once Schroders have completed its acquistion of Cazenove Capital in July, the trust's board said today.
