JPMAM names top three investment themes

Stocks have room to rise, investors need to diversify across fixed income and seek yield globally and emerging markets deserve another look, is the advice to investors from J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

The asset manager names these three top investment themes as driving markets and investment strategy in the quarterly release of its UK Guide to the Markets. It said investors may want to consider being overweight equities as the FTSE 100 Index is up around 10% since the beginning of the year on a total return basis, and the S&P 500 Index has reached record highs. "Given the range of global factors supporting stocks, the UK and US equity rallies look like they may still have room to run," said the note.
