Morningstar: the ten trusts investors eyed up in Q1

Morningstar has named the ten most popular investment trusts investors paid close attention to during Q1.

The data provider revealed the ten most frequently searched investment trusts in its database for the three months are popular, mainstream vehicles with strong dividend histories and solid long-term performance. Top of the list is the City of London investment trust, managed by Job Curtis, which has recorded 46 years of consecutive dividend growth. In second spot is Neil Woodford's Edinburgh investment trust, which is run in a similar style to the manager's £20bn open-ended income portfolios.
