Assureweb rebrands as iPipeline

Quotation portal Assureweb is rebranding as iPipeline to strengthen links with its parent company.

The firm, which currently generates quotations for around 22,500 IFAs, said it had been using a number of iPipeline's services since its acquisition in May 2012. "Rebranding will allow us to establish a strong connection with the highly-respected and successful iPipeline brand," said Assureweb CEO Andrew Simon. "Assureweb has a long history of providing value to our customers and partners. We're pleased to be able to better project those qualities by taking the iPipeline name." In February, the firm reported annual pre-tax profits of £253,000, down from £402,000 in 2011.
