L&G Investments' managing director of investments Simon Ellis has left the firm.
He will be replaced by Simon Pistell, currently managing director for individual wealth at L&G. Ellis (pictured), a well known figure in the industry, has held roles at Fidelity International, AXA Investment Management and Henderson Global Investors. He joined L&G Investments in October 2009 to head up the group's unit trust business.
