Henderson hires Armstrong co-manager after Lanning exits

Henderson Global Investors has hired James de Bunsen, former portfolio manager at Patrick Armstrong's investment firm, to its multi-asset team following Tony Lanning's departure.

De Bunsen, who spent two years at Armstrong Investment Management, will report to Bill McQuaker, head of multi-asset. De Bunsen will be responsible for specific client portfolios as well as adding to the investment expertise of the team. Commenting on James' appointment, McQuaker said: "Multi-asset is an important part of our business and we have long had plans in place to increase the resources and size of the team to support our ambitions.
