MFP first to receive British Standards certificate

Bournemouth-based MFP Wealth Management is the first advisory firm to have been awarded the BS8577, a certificate demonstrating the firm has attained operational excellence as defined by the British Standards Institute.

The institute launched the certificate in May. To receive it a firm must demonstrate it has achieved operational excellence across a number of business areas. Areas assessed include recruitment practices, training, operational processes, back office systems and documentation. The certification was developed with input from the Institute of Financial Planning, the Chartered Institute and Which?.
