Warren exits F&C Thames River

Thames River investment director Mike Warren has left the firm, Investment Week understands.

Warren's departure comes just four days before he was set to become head of F&C's retail business. His departure follows on from Charlie Porter, head of funds and investment trusts at the group, who exited the firm last month. In May, Thames River's chief operations officer Jeremy Charles also left the group. Warren (pictured) joined Thames River from HSBC Investment in 2007, where he was managing director for sales and marketing. F&C has been going through a period of rapid cost-cutting since activist shareholder Edward Bramson took the helm in September 2010.       ...
