Key Lighthouse shareholder withdraws board shake-up demand

David Hickey's departure from Lighthouse Group has resulted in a significant investor withdrawing a demand for its board to be restructured.

The requisition notice, made by Rock Holdings and Southern Rock Insurance Company, asked that chairman David Hickey be removed as director of the company and replaced by Allen Rosengren. It asked that a meeting to resolve the matter be announced by the board no later than 3 September. Combined Rock Holdings and Southern Rock Insurance Company own 5% of shares at the group.  The withdrawal of this requisition follows Hickey's resignation from his role last week.  Rosengren left his position as joint chief executive of Lighthouse Group in October last year.  Richard Last, who w...
