Cofunds is to provide its adviser users with access to a range of discretionary fund managers (DFMs) via the wrap for the first time.
The platform joins fellow fund supermarkets Skandia and FundsNetwork in offering DFMs. The latter launched a DFM service in October last year. Sales and marketing director Alastair Conway said the tie-ups would offer benefits to advisers and DFMs in a number of ways. "We recognise that DFM models are gaining good traction, and some adviser firms are absolutely dividing up the financial planning piece from the investment piece," he said.
