Axa platform assets rise 50% to £4.3bn

Total assets on Axa's platform proposition Elevate grew by 49% to £4.3bn over the last year.

In its half-year results to the end of June, the group said its platform assets were up from £2.9bn recorded at the same time in 2011. Platform sales in the first six months of this year were £855m, up 11% on the same period last year. The group said its platform business now represents 52% of all individual sales across the company, up from 40% in H1 2011. Elsewhere, AXA Wealth assets under management grew from £18.9bn to £20.1bn in the period with its specialist investment proposition, Architas, growing total assets to £10.8bn from £8.6bn.
