IFS designs Level 6 qualification for advisers

The Institute of Financial Services (IFS) has launched a QCF level 6 financial advice qualification as a response to demand from its members.

The qualification will compete with the Chartered Institute's QCF Level 6 qualification and the course kicks off in September. Candidates can sign up to the course now.  Advisers who obtain the qualification will be chartered under the IFS royal charter.  The advanced diploma will consist of three mandatory units covering managing investments, wealth management services and a third dealing with taxation, trust and tax compliance.
