IFG Group completes £70m sale of international division

IFG Group, the owner of self-invested personal pension (SIPP) provider James Hay Partnership and IFA firm Saunderson House, has confirmed the sale of its international division.

The division was sold to private equity firm AnaCap for £70m. The sale was approved by shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting on 18 June 2012 and the proceeds have now been received by the company in full. The company's international division was made up of trustee and corporate services in Jersey, Cyprus, Switzerland and the Isle of Man.
