Tenet adviser development programme gains CII approval

Tenet has attained Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) approval for its adviser development programme, meaning the scheme will now be eligible for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

The firm's activities - from professional development meetings, roadshows, workshops, online investment forums and the group's annual business conference - will all now carry CPD points, which distribution development director Keith Richards called "unique". "We've always run professional development events with CPD points, but obviously in the future it is going to be mandatory to demonstrate 35 hours as part of obtaining a statement of professional standing," he said.
