Capita 'nears Bluefin Advisory Services deal'

Outsourcing business Capita is close to securing a deal to acquire Bluefin Advisory Services from French insurance giant Axa, according to reports.

The deal for the employee benefits business, which also incorporates Bluefin Wealth Management and Bluefin Corporate Consulting, could be worth between £50m and £70m, the Sunday Times reports, without citing sources. AXA announced a sale of the business last November and hired Fenchurch Advisory Partners to advise on the transaction. But an acquisition would not include the group's insurance broking division, Bluefin Insurance Group.
