Axa cuts pension transfer times

Axa is introducing faster pension transfers as part of a number of service upgrades to its Secure Advantage range.

The group said an acceleration of pension transfers using ecommerce standards and services body Origo can result in a reduction in transfer times from an average of 51 to 11 days. Other updates to its range include a secure portal for clients accessing information, simpler application forms and the appointment of four guaranteed product specialists. Axa said market uncertainty is increasing the popularity of products offering a guaranteed element.
