Skandia veteran Jim Roberts joins Ashcourt Rowan board

Ashcourt Rowan has appointed Jim Roberts, founder of Skandia Investment Management, to the board as a non-executive director.

Roberts [pictured] worked for Skandia Group for 26 years, as an actuary, finance director and finally as group investment director. During that time, he set up Skandia Investment Management, which he chaired from its inception. Ashcourt Rowan chairman Kenneth West said: "Jim has been at the forefront of developments in the financial services industry for many years and I am extremely pleased to be able to welcome him to Ashcourt Rowan.
