Aviva wrap boss steps down to become teacher

The head of Aviva's wrap Nicholas Burton has stepped down to pursue a career in teaching.

He left the insurer in the summer and has been replaced by Paula Whitwell-Lumsden, previously head of opeartions for Aviva wrap, who is now head of proposition, individual pension and wrap. Burton joined the insurer in 2006 and was at the helm when Aviva relaunched its retail wrap in January 2010 - two years after it closed its Liftetime operation to new business owing to service issues.
