Cofunds hires SEI man in distribution drive

Platform Cofunds has appointed Jim Clay, formerly of SEI, as business development manager.

Clay, previously a senior member of SEI's UK sales team, joins a newly formed acquisition team led by Mark Hopcroft tasked with winning distributor deals. "With over ten years of senior level experience in the industry, Jim is a strong and welcome addition to the team," said sales and marketing director Alastair Conway (pictured). "I am confident he will integrate quickly and have an immediate impact on our success in persuading more advisers to work with us." Last week, it emerged Cofunds is on the verge of signing an execution-only deal with a bank.
