Army Corporal to speak at Ascentric conference

Andy Reid, a British Army Corporal who suffered severe injuries serving in Afghanistan in 2009, has been named as the headline speaker at Ascentric's annual conference. Ascentric has unveiled details of its third annual conference which will explore the theme of managing change.

Reid will tell his inspirational story - he has astounded doctors by surviving his ordeal - at the events in Manchester, Bristol and London next month. Other speakers at the RDR-focused conference include IFP chief executive Nick Cann (pictured) and business consultant Steve Billingham. M&G, iShares, BNY Mellon and Ashcourt Rowan will also deliver a series of masterclasses to help advisers with their investment decision making.
