The Pensions Bill will have its third reading in the House of Commons on 18 October.
During this sitting, the bill will pass through its report and third reading stage. This will be the last time MPs can debate the bill in the Commons. They will not be able to propose any more amendments. Despite this, the Opposition says it will still push for the government to add a transitional arrangement to help women worst hit by raising the state pension age (SPA) to 66 by 2020.
