Bestinvest hires former UBS man to head investment team

Bestinvest has appointed former UBS man Gareth Lewis as head of investment management.

Lewis, who took up his role yesterday, spent the last eight years at UBS as UK chief investment officer and latterly head of investment management. Since joining Bestinvest in 2010, chief executive Peter Hall - previously managing director at UBS Wealth Management - and chairman Mike Covell, formerly of Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management Europe, have made a number of appointments to the board.
