Tenet founder and CEO Simon Hudson to step down

Simon Hudson, founder and CEO of Tenet Group, has stepped down.

Hudson, who founded Tenet in 1992, said he is leaving because the onset of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) would have meant him committing to another five years as CEO.  "The implementation of the RDR will open up new opportunities for the company but it would have required me to commit to a further five years. In these circumstances I think it is time for a change." He added he "fully intends" to stay involved in the industry.
