The latest report by Eurekahedge says while all regional mandates witnessed losses in June, the Eurekahedge Japan Hedge Fund Index was up 0.25%.
Hedge funds outperformed underlying markets in 2nd quarter by 0.71% but remain flat YTD (+0.24%), according to the latest statistics by Eurekahedge. While all strategies delivered negative returns for only the fourth time in the last ten year, net asset flows remained positive for the seventh consecutive month – US$2.6bn. Almost all regional mandates witnessed losses in June, with the exception of Japanese hedge funds.
