BlackRock rejigs ETF team after Fuhr's exit

BlackRock's Investment Institute will run the asset manager's exchange traded fund (ETF) strategy following the exit of global head of research Deborah Fuhr.

Fuhr has left asset manager BlackRock after accepting a new role believed to still be within ETF industry. She is currently on gardening leave and will start her new role in the autumn in London, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Her departure has left a gap in the company's ETF research department, which will now be taken over by the BlackRock Investment Institute.
