IFA under police investigation over missing funds

An investment adviser is under police investigation in connection with alleged misappropriation of funds.

Malcom Green, 56, from Swanwick in Derbyshire was last week served a court order freezing his assets, according to the Daily Mail. The order related to claims brought by 13 former clients who allege Green took their money but failed to invest it as instructed. Lawyers acting on behalf of about 30 of Green's past clients claim as much as £1m may have been misappropriated in total. Green operated through MG Financial Services between 2001 and 2004.
