Tesco Bank promises refunds after online glitches

Tesco Bank has promised to refund customers who have lost out financially after it suffered technical problems with online accounts.

The problems emerged over the weekend, with some customers unable to access their accounts, and were exacerbated when the company's call centre became overwhelmed. However, Tesco said the website is now "fully operational" and will deal with claims on a case-by-case basis, the BBC reports.
